Cover closed across a rectangular pool
A closed automatic cover spanning the full width of the pool. This is the position that makes it a safety barrier and stops evaporation, and with an automatic system it takes seconds rather than effort.
Under guide system
The track runs beneath the pool coping, so the guide is hidden from view entirely. The cleanest-looking of the three guide systems, and the one most often specified during a new pool build.
Top guide system
Track mounted on top of the deck. It is the most visible option but also the most straightforward to retrofit to an existing pool, and the easiest to clean and service.
Indoor pool installation
Indoor pools benefit from a cover for a different reason than outdoor ones: closing the surface controls humidity and condensation in the room, not just heat loss from the water.
Dark grey cover, partially open
A cover mid-cycle, showing how the fabric feeds into the housing at the far end. Darker fabrics show water spotting less but absorb more heat in direct sun.
Custom-fit cover
Every automatic cover is made to the individual pool's measurements. The fit at the edges is what determines whether the cover seals properly and tracks evenly.
Large outdoor pool
Larger spans put more load on the ropes and motor at every cycle, which is why track alignment and tension matter more as pool size increases.
Fabric replacement
Worn fabric alongside its replacement. Fabric is the shortest-lived part of an automatic cover, and on a sound mechanism it can be replaced on its own without touching the rest of the system.
Safety cover extended
A correctly tensioned cover sits flat and continuous across the water. Slack, pooling, or a cover pulling to one side all indicate something needs adjustment.
Grey cover on a backyard pool
Cover colour is mostly aesthetic, but lighter fabrics run cooler in direct sun and tend to show debris staining more readily than darker ones.
Completed installation
A finished installation, cycled and tensioned. We run a new system through its full travel repeatedly before handover to confirm it tracks evenly end to end.
Automatic spa cover
The same principle at spa scale. Because a spa is used more often and heated year round, the daily convenience and heat retention matter more here than on a pool.
